EDUCATION
2016-2019

Undergraduate

USTC

I'm a USTCer since Sept 2016, enrolled in the Gifted Young Department. My major is physics while sub-major is computer science. USTC is where I begin persuing my dream. I take various courses, attend clubs, do experiments and do researches.

2014-2016

High School

TIANYI HIGH SCHOOL

When I was an adolescent, I spend two years in Tianyi High school and took a broad range of fundamental courses. Besides that, I also took courses like arts, history, literature, cosmology, geography and so on.

2011-2014

Middle School

TIANYI HIGH SCHOOL

At the age of 11, I was selected as a student of the Gifted Young Class in Tianyi High School. In those three years, I spent the happiest time in my life.

ZZZ resonance BSM search

Supervisor: Frank Wuerthwein

I'm currently working with Prof. Frank Wuerthwein on a ZZZ resonance search. Under Philip Chang's guidance, I am working on Monte Carlo to see the leptons and fatjets feature.

2019.6-present

ATLAS Gbb calibration

Supervisor: Shih-Chieh Hsu

I worked with Shih-Chieh on gbb calibrations. The goal of it is to measure the double b tagging efficiency, so a calibration of MC mismodeling is required. Thus, a scale factor needs to be fitted.

CEPC Higgs->ZZ analysis

Supervisor: Shih-Chieh Hsu

As a core collaborator, I developed the criteria for event selection to surpress the backgrounds. I upgraded the framework a lot and merged two sub-channels together.

2017.3-2019.1

USTC/CERN

ATLAS Z asymmetry

Supervisor: Liang Han

Caused by dilution effect which is not discussed before, Z asymmetry measurement should have a bias. This study reveals that at the LHC, the Z asymmetry should be observed as a dependence of boson rapidity to consider the dilution effect, even if the boson rapidity shape is not interested.

W prime BSM search

Supervisor: Liang Han

Helped validating the purity of controll region. Studied the matrix method in the instrumental background estimation and gave 2 talks of these results at the ATLAS WZ production informal meeting
